Five Dollar Planet will be presenting appearances by Ryan Hurst (Opie from Son's of Anarchy) and Slayer guitarist Kerry King at this year's Alberta Bound Tattoo & Arts Festival in Calgary.
Five Dollar Planet is a non-profit set up to assist underprivileged kids in Canada and overseas. For more info on five dollar planet projects you can visit www.fivedollarplanet.org.
Photo ops and autographs will be separate from admission so you will still need a ticket to get into the show.
Here are the ways you can meet one of our guests at the show.
You can purchase an immediate meet and greet pass by making a minimum 1 year donation to five dollar planet ($60). 100% of proceeds will be going to 5DP projects. This is for those people who just cannot miss the chance at meeting one of our guests. Professional photo services will be available for these photo ops.
Photo ops are sold per picture with up to 4 people, so if you want a group shot, only one $60 donation is needed. People who want individual photos must each purchase a pass.
The $60 meet and greets will also be available at the show for those who do not want to wait in line or want to miss their chance to get a picture or autograph.
You can get a meet and greet pass at the show which gives you a meet time with a minimum $5 donation at the five dollar planet booth. Passes will only be issued for each guest on the same day as the meet and greet. There will be a limited number due to time restraints. These photo ops will be by using your own camera or phone to keep costs down. We will have a staff member available to take pictures.
These choices have been set up to prevent people having to wait in line all day as well as benefitting underprivileged kids at the same time.
Kerry King will be appearing Sunday Oct 20th from 1-5pm
Ryan Hurst will be appearing Saturday Oct 19th from 1-5pm
